“Treeline” - new landscape oil painting
I have actually done this scene just recently as a “painterly” painting. (See last week) This time I did it in the softer version that I like so much. I think this turned out better. At least, this is more my tastes. I’ve actually had several people respond positively to the other piece, so it really is just a matter of taste. My taste runs to this softer, more blended version. So maybe I should just do a lot of these kind of things in both styles. We’ll see. Anyway, this is a 9×12 and will be dry and framed later in the week.
