Second Stage on Carnton Painting
Here’s the second stage on the Carnton Plantation painting. The house is pretty well blocked in, as well as the picket fence. The trunks of the trees are indicated, along with the left side horizon line. Note that the shadow of the tree is already on the side of the house. It looks really strange having the shadow there but no tree. It will make more sense after the tree gets in. jcannon1@bellsouth.net
