Portrait progress
I still have not finished this piece, but here is the latest stage. I am actually thinking about trying to finish it today. We’ll see how my time goes. I am deliberately using this as a learning experience, since it is a protrait and I’m using acrylic. I think I may start another one in oil to compare the techniques. I’ll see. The thing about acrylics is that you work and work and think “this just isn’t working” and then, suddenly, there it is. So I’m not really at the “there it is” stage yet. I’ll keep plugging.
