Next Stages on Complementary Color Underpainting Series
Okay, here are the fifth and sixth layers in the painting. Notice how each layer gets a little richer and a little closer to the final colors. The aspect these photos don’t show well is how lumious the objects are getting with each layer. There are still areas of the complementary underpainting showing, which is why there is depth and lumiosity.
