New Watercolor Study Painting
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. I’m working on studies for a couple of big commission pieces, and a couple of big abstract pieces, so here is a little watercolor study I did for one of the commission proposals. The basic idea will be a sailboat (actually three in the big version). This little watercolor study gives the basic idea of the boat, ocean and the hilly shoreline in the background. It’s very useful to try out something before committing to a big canvas. I liked the idea so much I’m doing a spec piece with the boats as well. More as that develops. jcannon1@bellsouth.net
