New Abstract Piece
Here’s the other new abstract piece I finished for the upcoming Aloft Hotel show. This one is another forest type scene, but abstracted and very textureed. It’s hard to see in the photo, but there is a lot of texture in the main tree, and all that texture has color picked up in it. So the piece is very interesting to look and, and to touch. That’s something I’ve noticed about this new technique: everyone wants to touch them. Kind of cool. Sort of a combination of painting and sculture. This one’s a 20×24, so it’s a pretty decent size but not too large. Come by and see it. jcannon1@bellsouth.net
