Landfill Art Project hubcap final
I had posted the first stage of this earlier. Here is the finished piece. Again, this is for the Landfill Art Project, where old hubcaps are reclaimed from the landfills and turned into art. The artists at The Row @ The Factory at Franklin have all particpated and we will have a show of the results coming up, with at event March 6 from 6-8 p.m. at the Factory. Come out and see the various treatments of the hubcaps. On mine, it was a Chevy hubcap, so the car was the obvious choice for me. We actually had a blue ‘57 Chevy, but it was a four door, not a convertible. So I upgraded us in this piece. Come out and see the works on March 6. jcannon1@bellsouth.net
