“Iris” - floral piece or something else?
This is a floral I did late last year. At the Share the Spirit Show, I got into a discussion about this piece. Someone said she found it “intimidating” because it was really about female sexual organs. I was, to say the least, a little floored. So far, my informal survey reveals that 99% of the viewers think this is just an iris. Like Freud said, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Sometimes an iris is just an iris. Anyway, that did prompt a response from my visual imagination, and I’ll post that tomorrow. Seriously, we are all having a real hoot with this stuff. More tomorrow. jcannon1@bellsouth.net
