“Girl in the Lavender Hat” - oil figure painting
Here’s another older piece that I’ve always liked. “Girl in the Lavender Hat” is the title. I think I always like poses that are mysterious, that raise questions. Looking at her, you wonder “What’s she looking at?” “What has caught her attention?” That kind of thing always attracts me in a painting. So this is one I’ve always liked. It’s a 16×20, and is still at the studio. Come by to see it. Don’t forget that event on June 5 and 6, which would be a good time to see all these works. jcannon1@bellsouth.net
