First color layer on child’s portrait - starting to work
Here’s the first layer of color on the portrait. There is still much more to do to make the painting what I want. This is a pretty good start, though. There are lots of ways to approach a portrait, and I have chosen the “old Master’s” approach, with soft skin and form. Hopefully, the final product will be as beautiful as my subject. jcannon1@bellsouth.net
